They are working on a few vets right now to bring in at the vet minimum and the MLE/partial MLE.  May hear something over the weekend/after Summer League.

So did they say if that salary is a position of need?

I hear that, but then I counter,

My affection for OKC's younguns is well known, but purty sure OKC isn't looking to trade either of those guys.

Otoh, Presti stated from the moment that they got Green from DEN that he'd be looking to move him. He'd be an excellent fit for us.

Saw last night that a rumor has surfaced that the Celtics also might be talking to OKC about Green.

The question becomes whether you could wait OKC out and see them buy out Green and/or Favors.

Health. Plain and simple. I’m just tired of the whole “when so and so gets healthy we will be better.”

I want guys I can count on to play. Bogi is rehabbing, AJ is not off to a food start. We hope Dre can stay healthy. 

I like Rose, but Clarkson is more reliable and younger. He could give us multiple seasons with this core group and build an identity.

TRADE RUMOR!!!  

 

AP (Associated Press)- The Washington Nationals and Brooklyn Nets have discussed a package involving Juan Soto for Kevin Durant as the main pieces. The Nats would send the Nets 7 1st round picks over the next 15 years. The Nets would in turn send 7 1st round picks over the next 15 years to the Nats, along with a box of Kleenex tissues (for KD).

Micic is a solid, big PG or decent size SG that knows how to win and plays smart basketball on both ends. He's absolutely perfect for us as a backup PG.
