Keeping it simple means that he had to pull it out and set up offense.   This team makes us play pure basketball... no fancy stuff.  Too much defense... too many fast guys.

He showed up last game.

He's been garbage tonight, after starting the quarter off well.

When most of the team is struggling shooting, he has to be the one either settling things down or trying to force the issue.

The fact that he only has 11 shots in a game like this, is what gets me.  Way too passive-aggressive for me.

You can't kill his confidence this early in the season.   However, I would let DJ play most of the 4th Qtr and let Trae sit for about 6 minutes and contemplate.

Trae is trying to force assists rather than make the simple rotation pass.  And when Bogi gets open looks, he's passing them up.  Just not good basketball.
