Trae can be spectacularly heinous...lol

But he won us that quarter and game. His early play (facilitating and controlling tempo) and late heroics counteract the weird minutes at the end... 

Murray was just as bad late..

Hawks have to clean up late game execution.. smh

Plus minus is fool's gold.  Our players played well.   They made a run.  Expected.  We withstood... came back and won the game.   

If you don't expect a proud home team to make a run then you don't know basketball.   These guys had won the last 11 home games. 

In that stretch, they beat Sactown (2) New Orleans, Lakers, Indy,  Denver (2), and OKC...

We should feel good about this win...

Every game, i see us get a little better at the things that we did bad the game before.   It's slow coming but these guys are starting to believe.

I wouldn't be surprised if the league office has a look at the Brooks' low blow and suspend him for one game.

I'm surprised Capela was negative as he appeared to be solid most of the night.  Quin made the right call to close with Onyeka though.

That's why +/- is limited. CC was a monster in the first half. Then he played most of the 3rd quarter when we lost the lead and that was on everyone. OO had a monster 4th and finished the game.

Yeah, i really feel that Capela dominated the first half...  And OO did so in the 4th... with Trae's help.

We need them both to play well in their minutes. If we can get this kind of production nightly from the C position it would go along way.

The same is true with DJ.  DJ was cooking in the first half.  With Hot Grease.  +/- tells the wrong story. 

That is why you don't trust +/-.  It doesn't tell you the truth.

There didn't seem to be anything special about the double HOU put on us late.  Seemed like the other 4 Hawks just forgot to .... do anything.  Just sat there waiting, leaving no outlet.  Then our guards went full panic mode.  YA NEVAH GO FULL PANAK MODE!

I definitely question playing Bey over Bogi in the clutch.  Dont agree with it.

That's just constant... not just end of the game.   We run a motion offense.  In the first half, we move and dominate.   Then we just get lax.
