Jimi getting the offensive foul on that one drive was ... chef's kiss, baybee.  I think I needed a cigarette.   

Not Just Jimi's foul bating... But one time they called Bam's moving screen.  They didn't call the next one he pulled on JJ.    The Miami team is the dirtest team in the game but they never get called for it.  Bam's moving screen.  Jimi's foul baiting... Duncan fouling anybody he wishes to foul.   They just rarely get these things called against them.

A lot of late whistles too after the refs watched to see if Miami would make a shot.  There were a lot of things going against us that game.  Props to the entire team to overcoming that to even be in position to make a game winning shot at the end.

Trae is a better passer, scorer, shooter. And PnR player but Murray runs the scheme a lot better. He can play off the ball which helps everyone.

You're mistaken. 

What makes DJ not a better PG is that DJ makes his mind up before he crosses halfcourt.   He's not a moment by moment player.   When he crosses halfcourt, DJ already knows whether he's going to run the scheme or take it himself.   And if he runs the scheme, he comes in and makes the entry pass and that's it.    DJ is a great PG in transition.  But even there, he's easy to read. 

Trae on the other hand, has everything you mentioned but he also is thinking the game moment by moment.  That's why his PNR with Clint is so amazing to watch.  Sometimes it comes out of nowhere.   It's because he didn't plan it, didn't call it.. he just saw Clint with a break and threw it up there.   Or some of his pinpoint no look passes to a guy underneath.  That comes about from seeing a guy get open.   DJ doesn't do that.   Doubt that he could.  He's not playing moment by moment like that. 

Secondly, DJ's dribble is very loose.  It was worse last season.. he tightened it up.  But he loses his dribble a lot.  He has high dribble.   DJ could never take the scrutiny of being doubled that way that Trae does.. and then you have folks saying that DJ is a better PG?  I love seeing these guys that they proclaim as great PGs get the Trae treatment.   Like the Playin Championship game.  It went by quietly.. but Haliburton everybody's favorite... got the dogs put on him by the Lakers.   The Lakers destroyed Indiana because they put a lot of pressure on Haliburton.  And Haliburton froze up down the stretch.  That and AD finally earned his money.

O MY GOD...

Did you see when Jimi complain to the refs because JJ touched him on a dunk.. and the very next time down, he drove and they called a foul on Bey.   Bey didn't touch Jimi.  In fact, Bey was falling back from the elbow that Jimmy hit him with.... but the ref remembered Jimi barking at him the play before.   It causes me to hate Basketball some times.. because a player can get a "make up" Call.  Never happens for Trae though.

Even when we finish the 7 game stretch tonight, the Hawks play ever other night for the next 5 games until the end of the month.  Then in February, we play 8 out of 13 nights before the All-Star break, with 2 back to backs.

 This is why I think Quin should start and then staggger Trae/DJM/Bogey/JJ/CC until Dre gets back. Get Bey back on bench where he belongs...... Use Patty Mills more, Use OO more, Use G. Bird, Use BRUNO.. Hell, bring in Seth Lundy and Kobe if needed.. Expand your damn rotation!!!!! We havent even played half a season and Quin is playing a damn 7-8 man rotation, like he is is in ECF.... Geez....
