And it only took Trae 3 months to get Nate to a Conference Finals. Something he couldn’t do in the 15 years of coaching before Trae.

Keep in mind Shams generally puts forth player friendly perspectives, especially Klutch clients, so this is probably a best narrative version for Trae.  I want Nate gone, but I hope the front office uses this flare up as a way to push back on Trae's power in the organization and force him to work with Nate and repair the relationship.  He needs that growth and maturity. 

If Trae goes full diva mode, start the media cycles now and trade him in the offseason ...just give Murray the keys to the team if Trae cannot handle basic communication or being coached at all.  If he shows some leadership and maturity and plays hard on defense while getting along with Nate, just wait until the offseason to fire Nate and bring in a better coach.

Trae is young and is doing what other superstars do in terms of getting their way. I don't agree with it but I'm just a guy on a forum. Trae wants the offense to be more dynamic and Nate wants him to run at a faster pace. He also wants Trae to play harder on defense. You can put two and two together to determine what the argument was about.

Trae acting like he's won a Championship or two.. smh

Well it was a good look for Nate because we played our best game as a team of the season...(No JC and Dre helped though).. lol

At this point Trae has had issues w LP and now Nate. At some point I hope he looks in the mirror because I find it hard to believe it’s all on the 2 coaches...

One coach lost the entire locker room.  The other....the fat lady is singing.  And yes..Trae has to be held accountable, but these two coaches...Meh.

All the way back to last year when Trae repeatedly froze other players out after they got hot in the 1st half of games. I saw players visibly get annoyed at Trae for not passing them the ball!!! I knew he was a toxic player

I’m not excusing Trae for this rift between him and Nate, even though I’ve completely soured on Nate, but the entire team hated El Pee and he completely lost the locker room so why are y’all placing the blame for him getting fired solely on Trae?

I'm trying to understand how Trae is in the wrong here when Nate gave him an ultimatum of not showing up if he wasn't coming off the bench injured? Nate needs to be fired after this.

I tell people all the time, it’s not always about being right or wrong, its about protecting your own peace and happiness.

If Trae responded to Nate’s ultimatum by still showing up for his team, then we have a real conversation about Nate’s status running this team.

But he didn’t. He took the bait and made an impulsive and selfish decision. One that he should have known would only create waves and headlines eventually.

Being the bigger person would have given Trae more support within organization. Neither is right in this situation. Trae does not get any credit just because Nate “started it.”

Having your coach give you an ultimatum is ridiculous, and it's wild some of you actually think Trae should've still shown up to the arena after that. Incredibly dumb thing to do from Nate considering Trae is always doing his best to be on the court evidenced by his iron man number of games played.

If Trae needs to skip shoot around to rehab... then let him!? Giving your star player the option to either come off the bench or not be at the arena at all is petty and silly as hell.

Also, Trae isn't wrong about this offense Nate is running, I'm glad he isn't just playing it out being satisfied losing games while running this relic from the 90's. Trae's communication needs to improve, but all the actions and behaviors I've seen out of Trae are from him trying to win basketball games and get us a championship. If he's butting heads with Nate, I'm taking his side over the coach who's already been fired multiple times and hasn't achieved anything without Trae Young on his team, especially when the arguments are over things Nate has been criticized over for many years now.

Trae has had a pretty clean record in terms of drama, where all the "players and people on the team and around the league don't like Trae" rumors are just coming from random reporters with nothing to back the rumors up.

Dejounte LITERALLY ONLY CAME TO ATLANTA because Trae wanted him here, and Murray wanted to play alongside him.
