What you mean "tore it down"?   Curry and Thompson are future Hall of Famers.  Durant is a Hall of Famer,   Green will get Hall of Fame consideration.

They won a chip without Durant, so losing him wasn't catastrophic.

They never tore it down.  All they did was replace their role players.

 

The Hawks only have one potential Hall of Fame player on the roster.

We gotta not have too much pride like GS and tank. This team ain't good enough. The depth is ass. We just need to tank while we still got our picks, get Wemby or Scoot, or trade the pick for a star. We need more ballers.

Seems that the Trae Young era Hawks refuse to be great. They have to have some dysfunction and their backs against the wall before they figure out how to win each season. Destined to always be a 5-seed or lower squad. This year our ceiling is no higher than 6, and we are MILES away from reaching our ceiling.

 

They need another All-Star caliber player, and role players willing to do the dirty work.

If not, Trae is destined to be just like Dominique.  A guy who was a Hall of Fame talent, didn't get another Hall of Fame talent at or close to their prime to help him, and ended up being a footnote to the dominance of Bird - Isiah - Jordan.

And OO is a complete bust as a Number six pick in the entire draft. Soft, slow, and weak.

Getting beat off the dribble by Looney is just inexcusable. He’s just flat out pathetically average. Just like Dre..

And then gave up the farm for Murray so we have to max him.. Thanks Trae GM. What a joke..

And dont get me started on his horrible trades..Trae lil ass for Luka. Huerter debacle..etc.Just damn.....

Schlenk/Ressler crippled this franchise,  just like I have said for years now..

For this season only, John is no longer an outside shooter. He is looking worse and worse as we get deeper in the season.

Time to accept what Westbrook and others had to at some point.

The Hawks aren't bad enough to get a top 5 pick.  And just being in the lottery isn't going to help this team.

We need veteran All-Star talent on this team.  Not a potential one that will be a rookie.
