He can run a motion offense but it's too hard to ask him to be a playmaker in PnR based offense. That's not his game.

It's obvious when he's playing with the 2nd unit.

If he's looking for his own shot, he's OK.

But a guy like AJ barely gets a touch when Murray is running the point.  Trae may find him, but that's becoming more rare these days too.

Trae hasn’t been using that jump bounce pass to great effect as much as he has in the past.   Then he follows with the slick dump off.
