Official Game Thread: Clippers at Hawks

Horrible first half buried us down. Its been too many games that we start 1º quarter with cold shooting, poor defense and lack of effort against subpar teams. We couldnt stop hot shooters Reddick, Rivers and Crawford.

Bench played pretty bad overall.

Started the game in full sleepwalk mode.

Hawks sure missed a lot of shots early in the game.

Again, another team "went off" against Atlanta from downtown.

30 in the 1st quarter and Hawks were never able to catch up.

Ah, well.  It was just another of those games we have from time

to time.

Hou lost to MIL tonite. .. bloe it up

GS lost to MUA tonite ... blow it up

CLE lost to NOP tonite ... blowuptuate.

The last two have titles. We know they'll be there at the end.

The Hawks getting owned by crappy teams has become routine.

Except it was Kent Bazemore on Austin Rivers to start the game and he promptly gave up 10 first quarter points.

Every guard for the Clippers went off. Dennis sucks almost as much as Bazemore and Thabo.

He is like one of those Jim Jackson players. He might have decent numbers on paper, but you're not winning anything of substance if he is a big part of your game plan.

It's not alternative. Kent did start on Austin and he failed. A defensive specialist. Failed. On that cat.

Missed joke completely ... and it was about calling out Dennis' D on Austin and actually agreeing with what u said about it being Baz

Rivers; 10-21 for 27 points

Reddick 17 points

Crawford 19 points

Those are the facts.

In fact, the Hawks every player had a productive night for the Clips. Crazy stuff.

The idea that this is a good defensive team is laughable.

Your final score: Falcons 44, Packers 21!

Tough loss, but meh! Can't dig 20-point holes against shorthanded but yadda yadda yadda, we've seen this show before, at least they crawled back this time... fix the defensive coverage and the first-half offense (and Sap's elbow) and all's good. Hardly any real standings slippage tonight, either. (Way to go Pels!)

In closing: GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG!

Yep. At least Atlanta fans have the Falcons to be excited about.

The Hawks lose and look at who shows up to post. Why, who woulda guessed it?

They could go on a 10 game winning streak and they'll still stink. They've gotten squashed too many times in embarrassing fashion and can't be taken as a serious threat to anything.

They should have had the fire sale a few weeks ago. Instead, they'll go another year as a faux contender.
