This is why watching the game is critical. Dedmon was playing well. We just overall was playing like shit bricking open looks while NY was making tough looks

When this game is over, go back and look at that 1st quarter. Nobody was boxing out, including Dedmon, which is why they went on that run while he was in the game.

Other than that, he did pretty well in his 1st stint.

So it wasn't the bricking of shots or Collins and Young playing matador defense at that time

He was part of the issue as well.

The Knicks called timeout after trading baskets with Dedmon.  It was 14 - 13 at that time.  After that, Knicks promptly go on an 11 - 2 run.

Here are our possessions:

- Dedmon makes a bad pass turnover, but makes up for it by blocking Frank "Nickeltina"'s shot

- Trae misses a 3

- Kevin misses a 3

- Dedmon misses a 3

- Trae misses a floater

- Dedmon misses a 12 ft jumper

- Collins makes a layup

- Collins misses a 3

- Dedmon misses a 12 ft jumper

It's obvious that this team is better with Dedmon on the team. Hawks just went through a bad stretch in that 1st quarter.  I simply gave the typical knee jerk reaction when things go wrong for the Hawks.
