Supposedly, the hand is part of the ball thus the block of Hunter was 'clean'. 

Th problem is Capela blocked a Cav in the 1st quarter in the exact same way and they did indeed call a foul.

That's the problem.

Some facts from the old man:

Everyone knows that I keep saying, "Hit those free throws" and they did!  Makes me smile when they do this.

Remember when I said, "Wright is all right.  He's a keeper!"  I still believe this and will continue to.

My oldest son and his wife were with me.  They don't watch the Hawks like I do.  They wanted to give up in the 1st half.  "I'm afraid your Hawks are toast."  Had to remind them what Yogi Berra always said, "It ain't over 'til it's over."  

Defense.  Cleveland played better defense early.  Atlanta played better defense late.  I thought that we were in better shape in the end because the Cavs were completely spent late in the 4th quarter.  They certainly gave it their all.  The entire second half belonged to the Hawks.

Gorgui Dieng and Onyeka Okongwu can, and will, cover the center position.  We tend to forget about Dieng, but he set some nice screens last night and didn't look too bad at all.  

No more "one and done" for us.  Whoever puts the Hawks out now must do it four times.  I don't care who you are, that is a huge undertaking.  If we get smacked down, we're coming back to make you pay.  Count on it!

Bogi kept the team alive in the crucial second quarter where the Cavs could have pulled away too far for us to catch them and then the godsend moment of Nate getting his head out of his ass and sitting Hunter in favor of Delon was the adjustment of the game. Of course he almost blew it by reinserting Hunter but oh well, Trae going super nova again after an incredibly ill advised taunting by the crowd made up for everything. Losing Clint sucks, but silver lining we will see how Onyeka does with extended minutes if Clint has to miss time. I think he'll step up big for us. 

I can see why you would be confused about Hunter.  He actually would have hit more completely wide open shots if he didn’t play in heliocentric system that limits quality touches for wings.  Of course he was missing them and getting benched.  He’s in the wrong system to take advantage of his skills.  15 shots isn’t enough to get in rhythm.

Also, it only looked like a close game because of the Cavs making shots they normally miss.  

Am I doing this right?

No.  You got to say heliocentric at least two times... and then you have to pull out some unknown ass stat like "win responsibility" and say that Hunter's play on Special Teams is equivalent to 6 wins... alone.   Not to mention what he does on offense and defense.

Our team defense in the game was outstanding. Trae was all over the place on defense in a good way. I think he only made one mistake on laving his man near the basket that resulted in a wide open dunk. OO and Delon were All Defense in this game. Bogi and Kevin gutted down and played their hearts out.

This Hawks team and that performance is what we are capable of doing every game. I wish to God we could have done that more in the regular season. Here's praying we keep it up in the playoffs and the seasons going forward.

His defense was terrible in the 1st half. 2nd half was great defensively for Trae. Offensively, it was a masterpiece

The shots were too completely wide open, that's low key the greatest weakness of the heliocentric system we run, because it looks on the surface like incredible quality looks but when the shots are too open there is greater pressure to make them leading to fools gold looks and thus bad efficiency for our wings.
