The fact that it's been so long, and that they're not talking about it, leads me to believe it may be something serious.  I'm just hoping all is well with the kid.

Yeah it's not good.  His dad hasn't been away i don't think so something personal i guess or he is unhappy but i don't see him as that guy.

so is he just sad?   Sad that his game apparently went to crap over the summer?  Sad that the rapture he predicted didn't happen?  What's the deal?

“I was once full of depression, anxiety and fear. And I struggled with porn addiction. I struggled with mental battles in my mind where they left me restless at night and I stayed up at night, you know, just crying.”

The Atlanta Hawks forward revealed how God delivered him from all his struggles before joining his aunt and others to pray for church members who were also struggling.

Probably sad that fans [aren't always considerate of what someone might be dealing with on a personal level].

😐

if that's true, that's super sawft.

Maybe, like me, he's sad the team didn't drarft Tari Eason instead?

Haha, i just realized that post was heavily edited by the mods.  Don't worry, I won't revisit it.  I didn't think it was that bad but ... oh well.

Maybe he lost a loved one.  Maybe it was something a little more important than some of the trivial things that we can conjure.   At least to him it was.

With the loss of someone that young it will always be with you but people do re-engage with other parts of their life as time moves on.  Seems like Griffin has had problems with that and like you say we are all different and react differently to tragedy like this.  Wish the best for him regardless of basketball.

Now they said it was Adrian's Grandson.....That means, AJ's nephew.   That's tough.  That in itself is something that may cause depression.

He's probably sad because he couldn't find any bucket hats... because somebody has bought em all.

nothing worse than showing up to a party with your best bucket hat and there's some dude there wearing an equally slick bucket hat.  Your god dammed right I buy all the bucket hats whenever I can!

I believe I heard a version of this as well at some point.

I remember AJ was considered young for a freshman, just checked and he turned 20 this past August. I know most of us didn’t have all of our stuff figured out at that age. Hope he is getting the support he needs first and foremost, and can return to his early season form on the court once he’s ready. I still have high hopes for him!
