We only scored 112 points.  The difference tonight was defense. 

Defense was excellent in the 2nd quarter and in the last half of the 4th quarter.

Offense was great, then horrid, then good at the end of the game.

If we get stops, we can run.

When the Hawks went down 102-91 I thought they had no chance

Clippers only scored 6 points the rest of the way in 6:27, and it's because they tried to run it through Kawhi down the stretch and Dre largely shut him down. Some favorable 3 point luck too, but mainly Dre. Credit to him tonight

With this win, we are 1.5 games back of Miami for 8th seed and 2 games back out of 6th in the tankathon. 

We are 2-2 for January. 

The big takeaway for this game

Trae was Trae. 

The bench stunk in the 2nd half but there elite 1st half is really what made it close where our starters could come back and pull it off. Jalen 1st half in particular 

Hunter was critical on Kawhi

Murray and Okongwu played very well on defense tonight. 

Clippers bench did not show up tonight and it cost them the game as well as Marcus Morris shot selection.

Got to find some size that csn play defense,rebound and protect the rim.. Offense would be nice but i'll settle for good defense and some physicality. The Hawks would look like a totally different team.

Murray too. As well as Okongwu in the 3rd. Trae was the only one consistent throughout offensively.
