I think they are footprints that collins has to put his feet in on the offensive side of the ball.   It's in the corner.  If he takes his feet off the footprints, he might drown.

No way they trade Murray. That would tell everybody that they made a mistake in trading those picks for him.  Most likely they trade JC and hope Murray walks away instead of maxing him.  That way it would appear they couldn't resign him. The article said they were under the impression that Murray would make them contend NOW for a chip.  It was never about long term with them, at least thats what I'm seeing from the article.   Remember, the overriding issue has been going into the luxury tax. They are keeping that payroll at a level where they don't have to do that.
