Official Game Thread: Hawks at Bucks (7 PM EST Tip)

I have to say this again for those who missed it in another thread:

After you watched this game remember and never forget that ol' Nate told Jalen Johnson to his face that Jalen would be out of the NBA and he had no future in the NBA.

Just keep that in mind as you watch Jalen and his entire career. Remember that one of the main reasons Nate was fired was because he refused to play Jalen. He refused despite the team, his entire coaching staff which included his own son, the entire NBA G league Skyhawk coaching staff and the FO all telling him he was wrong and Jalen should play.

Not for Nate. He stuck to that until he was fired. He cost Jalen his rookie season. He was going to ruin that kid's career out of sheer stubborn stupidity by refusing to admit he was wrong.

If anyone asks you why Nate was fired or why he's not still a HC in the NBA just remember Jalen Johnson.

When did this happen? That don't sound like Nate. He's doesn't talk like this. That would be extreme for even LP who does take shots at his own players. This is too damning. I would delete this post

I would ask @AHF to delete this post. No way you can say this especially if it's not true. That's not cool. Nate ain’t posting here or even doing anything with the Hawks. Why bring him up and why say this. This is extreme. Even for LP who had a terrible player rep. Nate has a good one. He wouldn't say this to any player. That's not even how he talks.

Fantastic win tonight to make up for the bad loss to the Knicks. Great game by everyone, defense was excellent.

Hoping for more of this tomorrow vs. the Wolves. Keep it up, Hawks!

Just finished watching the game with my lady friend. Absolutely amazing team play all around. The hustle of everybody tonight. JJ was impressive yet again, Bey was hounding people and OO always gives Giannis issues. That may have been one of the worst games I’ve seen Lillard play in his entire career.

If this is Quin’s scheme in effect I’ll take it. Wow, unselfish ball wins who da thunk it.

We are officially in the win column with a HUGE road win tonight!

 Not to make this a Nate McMillan thread and it’s not like i have personally ever talked to him but I’m not at all surprised if McMillan did say these things and that @Sothron is being truthful on this.

I was just about every Nba/nfl player sportscast there is out there and Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes comments about Nate McMillan was not good at all. They made Nate seem like a true asshole. I’m sure there are players who love Nate but there’s likely some guys who can’t stand him.

I see that there are a lot of Love given for JJ for tonight's game.  That's all well and good...  He deserves love.

But don't IGNORE DJ.  

DJ played a helluva game.  He shot well.  He put Clamps on Damian Lillard.  He made some great passes.   Everytime he was on the floor, he kept the tempo where it needed to be.

I know we had 8 in double figures... That's great.   However, if you're giving pats on the back... Start with DJ!
