Maybe Stern hates Paul enough to force him to sign with the Hawks.

He's the highest profile member of the NBAPA executive committee and he's been blocked twice by Stern. There clearly has to be some shenanigans there.

Reports say that Paul is pushing for the clipps to make the trade with the celtics! This could be two things:1. Just a dumb move Or2. Fall back plan in case it doesn't workout with teaming up with Howard.What is Paul thinking? Do he really believe kg is the missing piece and will put the team over to make a legit run?I sure as hell don't....kg is so injury prone anything could go wrong! He will be 38 next season and unlike Duncan he has not performed at a high level at old age.Ferry need to make one more major move to ensure that we get Paul and Howard!....ASAP

It has a lot to do with it, no doubt. But if Billy had drafted a PG instead of another forward the Hawks would have already had him.

I get all that but if I'm Paul I don't stay with the clipps regardless....I go to Dallas or Houston to me they have way better shots of making something happen and way better owners to trust

the clippers would be lucky just to get a healthy season out of KG. He most likely would break down b4 they even get a chance to compete in the playoffs and retire at the end of the season.
