I have a question - why does Wood keep getting cut?  What is he doing or not doing for this to happen.

Sixers, Horcats, Bucks, Pelicans - 4 teams, 3 years.

Especially after the production generated in NOLA, I'd have to suspect there's something we're just not privy to knowing.

I think we made a mistake not claiming him from waivers, Diallo also signed, no big out there taht deserves consideration from us and we are really thin at C

This could mean that the team is comfortable (at least at this time) going into camp with Len, Jones and Fernando as the primary centers with Collins playing spot duty during small ball lineups.  Jones' health could be the wildcard in all of this.

I don't see us as being thin at C.

We've got 3 of them already, and 3.5 with Collins getting that spot duty.

Having said that, I do see us being thin at PF, and would have been happy to see Wood brought in. (I've liked Diallo, too, just not for us... don't think he's a fit.)

How are not thin at center but thin at power forward? Don't you have that reversed?

Not at all.

Jones is a 5. Right?

Fernando is a 5. Right?

Len is a 5. Right?

There being 15 roster slots and 5 traditional positions, that's 3 slots per position. Right?

I reserve the right for now to have my doubts about Parsons at 4 for any significant amount of minutes, but we'll see, shan't we.

That's a different question.

If you want a better C than what we got, then sure, you could go out and try to get someone. I'm sure Steven Adams is still very much available.

But "thin" normally means, "we need more," not "we need better."

Len gets no love around here.. I get his defense needs lots of work but he improved last year on the offense end big time. I expect him to perform well this year
