Legit numbers. I just don’t get how the rockets were 10-1 without him. It’s misleading. We will be a much better ball club without a doubt. Where does this rank him amongst centers in the east? Top 5?

Top 5? How do you guys see Capella matching up against Embiid and possibly Giannis? I've seen some good numbers against Jokic and Gobert, but nethier of them are on the level of the guys in the east. Maybe Jokic on a good day. Edited February 5, 2020 by marco102
Popular Post NBASupes
Capela was damn near All Star level last year with CP3. He had a lot of very good moment this season but once he got hurt and they starting spacing the floor better, they just couldn't go back and they aren't the most patient franchise. Oh well, tough break and their lost Edited February 5, 2020 by NBASupes

Only a hand 🖐 full of quality bigs. Embiid Myles Turner Jarrett Allen Drummond Triston Thompson Vucevic Capela looks to be a top 3 center in the east. Embiid is the only one ☝ clearly better. Damn. Schlenk is good.

TheBigETrain
So what is the final ins and outs just for Atlanta? In: Capela, Nene Out: BKLN 1st Round, GS 2nd Round, Turner Is that it? Too many players involved its hard to get an idea of what Atlanta gave up.

Popular Post RandomFan
https://theathletic.com/1584739/2020/02/05/snap-judgement-wolves-hawks-nuggets-and-rockets-swing-four-team-deal/ Quote Atlanta Hawks receive Clint Capela and Nene I absolutely love this move for the Atlanta Hawks. A couple weeks ago, it seemed like they might get pressured into acquiring Andre Drummond, which then would mean they’re giving him an exorbitant amount of money. Instead, they technically downgrade from an overall talent and player standpoint by getting Clint Capela. They also grab a better defensive presence, someone who is almost his equal in rebounding, and a much better fit for what they want to do. With Drummond, he’ll do a bunch of good things and then demand you waste possessions with post-ups to feed his ego. Capela just wants to rim run and dunk off lobs. That’s a perfect pairing for Trae Young on offense. Defensively, Capela gives a lot more stability with executing defensive systems, although his mettle will be tested on that end with such a young team next to him. He’ll need some guys to grow up quickly on that end, but he should make a huge difference. He also can play next to John Collins fairly easily, as Collins is getting more and more comfortable with his outside and midrange jumpers. The Hawks don’t expect there to be any clashing of styles there. The Hawks will end up paying Capela a yearly salary that could have been as much as half of what Drummond would have demanded and probably commanded of them. All it costs them is expiring contracts and Brooklyn’s first-round pick. As long as Capela is healthy, the Hawks get their big acquisition of the summer — a defensive-minded center — a few months early.

Eddielives
So not to be a Debbie Downer here but will I can't help but wonder how Capela feels about coming here. Hopefully, he's a pro about it but we're a HUGE downgrade from Houston. How will this turn out if he becomes a malcontent with our rebuilding and very young core? So long as he's getting paid on time he'll be fine. He's been a role player his whole career and we're asking him to do the same things for us.

To a team that wants his rebounding , shotblocking and defense. Houston wants 3 point shooters . D'antoni does'nt know what to with a guy like Capela.
