My favorite prospects who aren’t grabbing headlines or highly touted:

Jared Butler, Quentin Grimes, Jericho Sims, Isaiah Livers, and of course Aaron Henry.

If we go BIG

I want Kai Jones at #20.

I think he has one of the highest upsides in the draft..

He or OO will be ready to take over for Capela when his contract is up.......

If he's gone, give Isaiah Jackson a look.............

I'm a big fan of Kia Jones, but he will be G League bound next season.  However, the upside is worth it at 20.

I must say, based on the little I've read/heard of Duarte's story, I'm really rooting for him to make it.  Not keen on bringing in old rookies but I hope he finds a good spot in the league.  I feel confident, if he's our pick, he'll help us right away.

Surprised they haven't worked out many players in that 20 range. Only a few like Christopher, Hyland, and Thor.

Maybe they're expecting to trade it?

This feels like a draft where if you could flip the pick for a player you like on a rookie contract from another team, you could do it. Like the THJ trade we made in 2015.

Could also be an attempt to throw other teams off their trail. Not wanting to reveal their hand too soon. It's all speculation at this point.

Also feel like a draft where the guy we get in round 2 could be as impactful as some dudes taken in the teens.

Most of those are late 1st guys. Maybe Mo Bamba for 20/Dunn

I wouldn't do that trade because you're going to have to pay Bamba after this year. He ain't worth a first round pick.

He won't get anywhere near a max and may be a good young big to have on a good deal for three or four years. He hasn't shown much production and has been injured.
