Ummm . . . we need Bruno in this situation.  Okongwu is excellent in rim protection.  But in actual guarding the post, Bruno is the guy.

lmao I feel like you call for Bruno in every single game thread. Bru Crew till the end

76ers are not going away.  This 20 point lead is not that great.  Embiid, that injured center, is single handed keeping them in this game.  He indeed looks like an all stat and MVP.

Hawks, despite what others say, is not a one man gang.  True team !!

Looks like the rebounding is what may do me in.  Capela potentially getting in foul trouble won't help either.

I thought Collins would be a lot more locked in.  3 pretty unnecessary turnovers from him, if he'd simply just be decisive.  He's playing like Julius Randle was playing.  No reason why he shouldn't be in double figures right now.

Well, very little can be said about this quarter, just the best half I have seen in a while against the 2nd best defense of the league.

Very difficult we can maintain this percentages on the 2nd half, Phily is shooting well also, we need to tight the defense a little. Throw some bodies at Embiid and don’t let them run that is their best offense

Another note, if we can keep the pressure on it is likely they pull Embiid earlier because of his injury.

I don't think they'll concede. It's more likely Embiid will be run into the ground in hopes the Sixers win Game 1.

We gotta keep this shooting in the second half, so Doc will run Embiid for a way longer time than he should.

Not every game.  But in this situation, he may be needed.

I love Okongwu's rim protection activity.  But he'll get eaten alive trying to guard Embiid, because he's just not strong enough.  This is also the issue with Collins and his post defense.

Bruno doesn't do a lot of things well these days, but post defense isn't one of them.  His post defense has always been on point.

Not looking at stats who would you say had a more impactful first half Solo or Collins?

I’m guessing this is a trick question lol.  Solo is a very good positional defender who affects runs so I’m going with him.

Embiid would just take him off the dribble or step back. Bruno is not a good defender in space.

ICE TRAE IS ABOUT TO BE THE FACE OF THE LEAGUE

It's amazing what ballin in the Playoffs can do.....

No way Doc lets Green guard Trae in the 2nd half....Who's next?

Collins strength also why hes fumbling on backdowns hard to keep the handle when its like youre running into a brickwall, youre right he just needs to spot up when he gets the ball.
