When Cam is going like he is, everything doesn't have to run through Trae every time down. Thats not "taking the ball out of Traes hands", its just smart basketball...

They also aren't leaving Cam open now, like they were earlier in the game.  It's Trae's driving to the basket that is freeing up Cam for open shots.

Now if you want Cam to initiate the offense, that's different.  Give him the ball and let's see if he can make shots off the dribble.  He's made 2 or 3 shots initiating his own offense, and 4 or 5 shots via assists from other people.

But to free people up for shots, either Trae has to draw and kick, or the ball has to move quickly from everyone to get Cam a look.

If Trae keeps it, he needs to make his floaters.  He went 0 - 6 in that 2nd quarter and missed 4 shots in the paint.  That needs to improve.

Cap. Cam was wide open at the top of the key on one of the later possessions. He's throwing his hands up calling for it......and Bogi proceeds to throw up some bullsh*t

We put up 63 points. Im not tripping over the offense or Cam's touches. I'd rather he pick a star player wearing a Bulls uniform and apply some clamps. That's what would impress me right now. These dudes playing like we not even out there.

It's hard, because Cam can't guard both DeRozan and Lavine.  Bogi has to be on one of those dudes.  I kind of wish 2013 Lance Stephenson would show up, because he was a pretty good man defender.

Looks like tonight that we're going to have to flat out outscore Chicago to win. Anything less than 115 points loses this game.

It can run through Trae, just pass the ball to Cam for spot ups and not heave a 30 ft with three bulls guarding you.  Cam was wide open in the corner.

Yeah, Trae is a ball dominant guard.  He is an assist man, but not a distributor. If that makes any sense. The offense pretty much has to flow through him.

The next stage of growth for this team is for Trae to be on the floor with another scorer who can create.

Yeah he went 5-8, and I was like this is going to be one of those nights for Trae, and then he's missed every shot after that.....

When you're the offensive engine of the team, you can't go cold like that and expect your team to keep pace . . . especially when we don't play defense.

That's not it at all.  The ball should be in Trae's hands he just should make the right read and understand when someone has it going.

He's a perfect distributor.  Sometimes he just thinks he needs to be the guy when someone has it going. If no one has it going, I don't mind him taking those hero shots.

Every great player does it and it's a learning curve.

I've seen Steph take some terrible shots just like Trae, but Steph isn't nearly a good of a playmaker as Trae.

No that doesn't make any sense.  What high assist guard didn't have the offense flow through them?

When you're playing with other guys who can score the ball, you simply give it to them and let them go to work.  That's what the Bulls are doing.  Lavine and DeRozan are basically taking turns with the offense.
