that's a 2 part question.

 

1. What's the chances that Ben Simmons is traded by Feb 10th?

A) better than 75% (IMHO from what I know).

2. What are the chances that if he's traded, its to the Hawks?

A) given what we know now, about 1 in 3.

 

There are teams that are hovering on this but the fit is really difficult. Think of it like a puzzle.

1)To get Ben, you have to give up Ben money (everyone but OKC). 

2) To get Ben, you have to have pieces Philly wants that you're willing to give up that equal Ben money (about 5-7 teams).

3) To get Ben, you have to see him as a fit (everyone can use him, he's that useful).

4) To get Ben, you have to believe he'll be happy there.......and that's the rub.

Hmmm.  I'm starting to think the pick and Knox are important for another trade.  Cam you've got another year.  I know they don't make much but it's still a difference cap wise.   I smell a three way bringing Simmons here.  I never believed we were really after him but now i'm not so sure.

@Sothron have they done a roster update to get Cam on the Knicks. We play them on Saturday he better suit up. Oh wait.. I have an alert ..

Oh okay, Cam might be out again, look I’m gonna hold off on this thing, Cam ain’t never available.
