I'll take this first half.  We needed any easy start to a game.

He needed to give that ball to Trae and sprint for the lob. He was going to get the ball right back. SMH.

12 boards and 19 points out the bench?  I’ll take it.  2 offensive rebounds and two steals from Trae is the shit I be talking about.  Besting Boston’s two overrated wings by himself.  I just realized John wasn’t playing lol.  Let’s go.

Despite Trae shooting 5 - 13 FG, he's playing with the amount of aggressiveness necessary to win this game.  3 - 5 from 3, and 5 - 5 from the line, still makes him very efficient ( from an analytics standpoint ).   He's also ( +13 ) for the game, which is a must to win a game on the road like this.  And he's on pace for another 30 point - 10 assist game.

Bogi's 5 - 5 FT has to be a season high.  His 12 points were definitely needed, with Gallo playing mostly with the starters.

No shot attempts for Capela, but he has 12 rebounds.

Hunter is taking a lot of shots and being aggressive.  No problem with what he's doing, just make the open looks.

I'd like to see Huerter be a little more aggressive looking for his shot, especially when he feels he can get in the paint for the mid range shot.

 

Overall . . . a B+ half for the Hawks.  Keep it rolling.

Look.  I don't know if Hunter is it...  I almost at the point of saying trades this offseason should include him because he's not BB IQ ready.  And he hasn't hit a three in a while.
