Official Game Thread: Hawks at Celtics

The media fascination with the Lakers humors me to no end.  90% of the people who really study the NBA laughed at every move they made this summer.  They’re exactly where Basketball Ref expected their record to be. 
 

Amazingly Cleveland is 2 games behind where they predicted, Memphis 2 games ahead.  The Reference is law I’m trying to tell you.  Hawks 2 games behind.

Phoenix 4 games ahead.  I like Memphis over them though.  Memphis has more capable handlers I think.  Golden State looks like a mess at times without Draymond’s Dirt Work.

At least 1 of those was a very weak call. SMH

The first two fouls were bad calls.   The third foul was an obvious flop.   Then Trae gets fouled on a drive.. no call. 

Hard to deny a fix.

He didn't help himself with the frustration foul on Smart. He played right into getting himself out of the game.

If you watch carefully, it wasn't a frustration foul.. Smart grabbed his arm and then flopped hard.
