I have some knick fans friends and they are still in denial.  Knicks aren't in a good situation.   Their core of Randle/RJ isn't that good.   RJ may be ok but he's not a #1 or #2 option.  And Randle is Randle.  As soon as you add a great guard Randle goes back to being the real solid PF he always was and not the Jokic lite they thought they had.   

For some reason i'm still salty that the Knicks fans constantly claim they are so educated but couldn't even see that Trae was legit and we were twice the team they were.   Most had no clue this was coming.   

People in New York think being loud and having opinions = being educated.

Me too. I’m rarely in a position to say “good series” to anyone because we usually lose but had to say it to them even tho we destroyed them. Lol. Tough to tell a friend, good game with a straight face, luckily it was over text lol.

This is exactly right.   And I actually got the 'nba is better when the knicks are good' speech again today.   Ffffff U.    I'm happiest when they are in the lottery and picking Kevin Knox.

What's so dumb is there are way more Knick haters in the world than Knick supporters.   So, as Nate pointed out, the Knicks being good is great for NY, great for the folks in the league office, great for the NY based media but the rest of the world could give a hoot.

I really HATE being "get off my lawn" guy, but I gotta draw the line here.  Alcohol or not. Serious or not. Mad about the series or not.  There's some things that are just not OK to even joke about.  Shooting other people is tops on my list.  Especially given all the recent fan behavior at arenas.  The idea that multiple of these people are literally saying they would shoot Trae if they saw him and then giving the fake actions to illustrate it, is just NOT OK to me.  

It's all fun and games when they are drunk on the street (and presumably not serious), but what happens when one of those drunk guys shows up at the team hotel?  I just don't like it.  And if I was Trae or the Hawks, I would demand that the local authorities charge these dudes with the threats they are making.

Too many mass shootings, PizzaGate idiots, etc. to casually shrug off mentions of gun violence.  Unfortunately, that is just the world we live in.
