Players averaging at least 15 min per game in the series, age and average series min in parentheses

Trae  22, (39)                                        Embiid  27, (36)

Bogi  28, (36)                                        Simmons  24, (35)

Kevin 22, (30)                                        Harris  28, (37)

Capela 27, (32)                                     Curry  30, (38)

Gallo 32, (25)                                        Korkmaz  24, (20)

Lou  34, (15)                                          Thybullle 23, (21)

Average age: 27.5                                 Average age: 26

Did not include OO, Snell or Hill as they are averaging less than 15 min per.

But OO is 20, (8), Snell is 29, (6), Hill is 30 (12)

Likewise, Milton, Maxey, Howard, Hill did not qualify.

So in summation, your age argument is not supported by the empirical statistical evidence.

If someone wants to  give age weighted by min, that would get a better number, but I'm not sure how to do that.

that's interesting for sure

Sometimes you have to actually look at the data, instead of assuming what you think is true. "Hawks are young team, 76ers are old team." FALSE

i think it's a very positive thing for shlenk it's a very well balanced team with young guys and vets

Up until last nights game - Lou was under 15 minutes per game.

Lou's minutes in this series 11:05, 15:09, 13:16, 13:35, 22:34 (last night, so an outlier).

Well where do you want to set the minutes threshold? 15 seems like a good number. Each team has 6 players averaging 15 or more minutes. If any math people here want to do an average age weighted by minutes, that would provide the most meaningful number.

Lou vs Rondo in the finals would be hilarious and glorious all at once.  Imagine a game 7 where they are matched up with 10 seconds to go. (Obviously ball in PG13 Kawhi Trae etc. hands but maybe..)

Rondo guarding Lou for the final jumper and..

:indifferent:

Lets take care of Philly!

Was it positive?

Yes.  They talked about how every Hawk contributed, how they never gave up, and how well Nate made adjustments.  It was very positive.  They hammered Simmons, Harris and Doc.  They even threw a little blame to Embiid for disappearing late.  ( I wouldn't have went there).  Skip pointed out Lou getting the spark going and how Trae played within himself without lauching threes AND not turning the ball over.  It was a very good segment on the Hawks.

But it is true that our primary star Trae is 5 years younger than their star, Embiid.

This may be evil but am hoping for a failed vocal chord surgery in the near future for Stephen A. Just so consistently intolerable. And he is a leader in the so called sports journalist industry?? Awful state it is in.

You haven't been keeping up with the Kwame Brown phenomenom.  He has exposed Stephen A. Smith BIG TIME.  Just go to Youtube, you will be there for a while.

Nobody said 6-ers are “old”.

Those cats are legitimately angry at Philly. Love the Doc bashing even though he was a Hawk. Doc always works those refs but that is only part of the coaching game. The comments about Doc should have been working on Simmon's game since he got there is really revealing itself to be very true.
