I stayed with my guy JC as long as i could his heart just isn't in it anymore as a Hawk.  He needs a change of scenery and he might flourish again but i don't see it happening here anymore.  Too many trade seasons with mention of him being moved and to many injuries have caught up to him.  He's just done here and you can see it on the court most nights.   I was hoping a new coach would ignite something back in him but i just don't see it he is ready to be gone.

I'm happy we got Quinn but I was trying to tell ya'll. Hawks main issue was not a head coaching issue. Talent is not there Trae is having a bad season.

Yep... that was a big loss.   I think Snyder has a lot of instruction that he can give.  Miami had also peeped Snyder out too.   Spo had them ready. 

Our first half shooting woes was too high of a hill to climb.

I was not overly impressed by Miami's offense.   They did just enough and then their PNR game was working at the end but up until that.. there was nothing to write home about.  

Our offense struggled.   When Trae and DJ don't score, we will struggle. 

We will see what Snyder can do on Monday.

I love DJ but Miami is hell if you gonna live and die by the middy as they cover ground well and got size. They aren't weak like Portland.

This is for starters:

Portland gets: Trae Young.

Atlanta gets: Anfernee Simons, Jerami Grant, Portland's 2023 and 2024 first round draft picks. I believe this is TWO first rounders in 2024 because the Blazers 2023 pick is gonna defer to 2024.

They aren't flawed, they just don't fit. All top 10 players got a lot of talent, some, more than others. We just gotta figure out a fit.
