Nope.  Noooo.  Nope.  Nah.  No thanks.

....... You can't make me!

Think of it like kissing someone really unattractive and lonely.  Sure it can be uncomfortable and in some circumstances painful, you may come away feeling icky, but all things being good, you'll come away from it understanding yourself better, helping someone else out and knowing exactly what you don't want.

JJ and team since the all-star break. First set broken down by +/- best to worst.  2nd chart, extract based on per/36.

PLAYERS GP MIN FG% 3P% REB AST TOV STL BLK +/-
Onyeka Okongwu 7 147 60.5 50 38 8 10 6 7 60
Bogdan Bogdanovic 7 168 55.4 55.9 21 18 10 7 3 51
Jalen Johnson 6 93 58 60 25 10 3 3 2 46
Saddiq Bey 7 199 49.2 46.2 29 9 4 6 0 33
Trae Young 7 228 46.1 37.8 24 62 27 14 1 30
Dejounte Murray 7 248 50.4 35 32 40 13 10 0 11
AJ Griffin 4 49 33.3 12.5 5 5 1 1 0 10
Aaron Holiday 2 4 50 0 0 0 1 0 0 -6
Bruno Fernando 1 2 0 0 1 1 1 0 0 -6
Garrison Mathews 1 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 -6
Vit Krejci 1 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 -6
John Collins 6 141 57.1 36.8 18 2 8 1 2 -25
Clint Capela 7 185 70.6 0 69 10 5 5 10 -31
De'Andre Hunter 7 212 50.7 39.1 21 10 9 3 3 -31

Per36 GP MIN FG% 3P% REB AST TOV STL BLK +/-
Jalen Johnson 6 93 58.0 60.0 9.7 3.9 1.2 1.2 0.8 17.8
John Collins 6 141 57.1 36.8 4.6 0.5 2.0 0.3 0.5 -6.4
Clint Capela 7 185.00 70.6 0.0 13.4 1.9 1.0 1.0 1.9 -6.0
De'Andre Hunter 7 212 50.7 39.1 3.6 1.7 1.5 0.5 0.5

-5.3

So in 119 less minutes, JJ managed to grab 4 more rebounds than Hunter.  In 48 less minutes he grabbed 7 more rebounds than JC.

Per 36, .8 less turnovers, .9 more steals, .3 more blocks, 5.1 more rebounds than Collins.  The DH comparison is just as bad.  A Per36 average the less 7 games of 24.2 points better +/- than JC, 32.1 points better than DH. He's been your most impactful player on the floor the last 7 games.

Its true he started out the season ruff, but he was also told not to handle the ball and to stand in the corner and wait to shoot 3s it was literally the only thing he was asked to do and he started out the year shooting poorly but he was also on the floor on the regular with the Holiday brothers.  So draw your own conclusions.

Remember when I said Nate was playing JJ like he was Gallo? smh

coincidentally… 16 games left in the regular season.

Eerie? Perhaps? :er:

I say we go 12-4 to get to 45 wins. :cheer:I want that 6th seed badly. 4 games away from that with the Heat 1.5 up on us sandwiched in between at 7.

It is getting eerie.  Going back to January 28 if we lose two games then we win two games.  There was one time where we lost one game and followed by a win to break the trend, but it was still an Even Stephen:

Let's hope we break this trend tonight with a win.

We desperately need a winning streak but at this point, with 15 games left, maybe we just are who we are.

There are a lot of good teams this season hovering around the .500 mark. We are the only ones talked about like we are a dumpster fire organization.

We just need an infusion of positive energy to close the season.

Well basketball is a repetitive habitual type of sport in general. You routine yourself on everything including shot mechanics and even win/loss patterns.
