I'm, of course, not paying attention and on extended hiatus pending some change in ownership...

But... just to the general idea presented, and not to pick on Bonkers...

Let's not pretend that Luka hasn't had some nights vs. Hawks over the years that made us all extremely satisfied with the decision to trade for Trae.

We'll have to see, of course, if that up and down, win-some-lose-some course continues through the rest of their careers.

It severely highlighted where we went wrong in building the team.  Had nothing to do with Trae who, as you said, played well.

I don’t want to see another post defending this head coach. It’s like I said before he’s just collecting money like the owner.  Both of them don’t deserve their names mentioned.

Luka gonna Luka but I was impressed with Lively.  Like Dwight Powell, his screening and defense allows Luka to do whatever the hell he wants.  Arguably as important as Kyrie.

I wouldn’t build around Luka, he’s basically a big ass Trae.  The crazy usages they have (both on pace to be top 3 with Michael Jordan when they qualify) just isn’t conducive to high level team ball versus solid teams.  But his rebounding, ability to overhead pass, and super-efficient 2 point shooting makes him terribly superior obviously.  And he does have to drag that roster wherever they’re gonna go.

The front office/GM who thought to trade Luka for ANYONE was always going to put that player in an impossible situation. Trae has done about as well as anyone could tonight in Luka's 73 point shadow, but it was never a fair situation from the jump...... Unfortunately really.
