The eggsperts are at a loss explaining the bad defense without the easy button aka 'blame it all on trae'.

That boy Zion was gangbusters the first 5 or 6 trips down the court.  After that he was like, "Whew, you mean we gotta play tha whole half?  I'm tied.  Somebody gimme a blow**"

** I mean a 'rest'.  No Moriah jokes today(?).

Playing a good team without injuries kinda sheds some light on the defense and offense. 

Pels shooting 52.5% for those that care about such. 

Still, was encouraging to see them cut the lead nearly in half.

I guess being within 11 at the half isn’t so bad when you shoot 32/29/75 and the other team shoots 52/44/100.. Geez

Defense hasn't been that bad

Murray and Dre stinking up the joint offensively..

Pelicans are athletic as hell......

True - but on the flip side we are depending on these guys (Bruno, Wes, GMat, Vit, Forrest) to be real contributors. Just a real mismatch.
