Prime example of how no one creates for Trae.

Cam drives and has tunnel vision going to the basket.

Meanwhile, Trae is wide open at the 3 point line.

Cam gets blocked by 2 people.

Shoot the ball Trae

Trae missing everything too..Trae/Huerter/Cam 3-16...

Trae is the only guy on the team who can put the proper offensive pressure on the opponent.  That's why he goes to the line so much.

Your teammates are not Alphas, no matter how much they may want to shoot the ball.

YOU are the Alpha.

Keep looking for your shot.   Your team only wins when you ball out.

Doesn't matter if he's missing everything.  He's still getting to the FT line because he knows how to draw fouls.  This is a trait that none of his teammates possess.

All of these so-called good looks his teammates get, and they keep missing.

Notice that we're back in the game the minute he turned up the aggression.

Gallo does when he is more aggressive. He has clearly been more passive after the injury.

That's why I call him Trae Iverson.   Allen Iverson understood that no matter how bad he was shooting, as long as he kept the pressure on the defense, he could get some of those points off missed shots back at the FT line.

Drawing fouls also disrupts the rotations of the opponent.

Trae, despite shooting bad, is getting points at the line . . and is currently ( +1 ) for the game.

I hope he finds is at some point before the all star break otherwise its over for this season.

His teammates have proven that they can't be trusted on a nightly basis.  So Trae has to keep looking for his own shot, while still being a facilitator.

This team doesn't shoot well enough to have the philosophy that the open man should shoot the ball.

16 points for Trae this half.   That's a good pace.
