You see the score right?   We were up by 9.  I had the Hawks at ( -11.5 ).    That 3 put us up by 12.

Even though Houston would score on the next possession, that 3 was critical in covering that number.

1. And what was the deal with the lady ref tonite.  "Lady ref" simply as a means of identifying which one I'm talking about, nothing to do with the fact that she's a lady.  Seemed to be getting into it with both sides.

2. Are HOU's scrubs the least likeable scrubs in the league?  Borderline dirty ticky-tack fouls on several of our guys.  Complaining about calls despite being, ya know, scrubs.

3. Best believe I was on rat-tail alert tonite since Porter, Jr. definitely has one in his mane.  Don't be losing to dudes with rat-tails or shags.

On balance, six wins in a row is a big accomplishment given the backdrop of this team's evolution since the rebuild began.

On balance, six wins in a row probably shouldn't be quite as celebrated as it's being celebrated in this thread, when one considers what we actually were up against...

Two things can be true at once.

Numbers don't care about anyone's feelings.

Win, doesn't matter in the end who we play since the ultimate goal is to get to the playoffs.  Every win counts for us.

2017... so ya, we played some crap teams but six in a row is still six in a row. No, we aren't the best team in the NBA right now, but we've clawed back from a big hole in the standings and will get reinforcements soon enough. BTW fun fact, Hawks rank 9th in the NBA in point differential, better than the Celtics, Spurs, Mavs and Blazers.

Yeah I want 4 quarter of it but the mere fact that when they need to honker down and play hard nose defense, they can and have every 4th quarter Nate has coached regardless of the personnel on the floor
