Premium Member shakes Posted November 19, 2021 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 19, 2021 He needs to get better soon. At this point I’d rather back up Capela with a bottle of Gochujang instead of Gorjui Dieng. 1

Moderators macdaddy Posted November 19, 2021 Moderators Report Share Posted November 19, 2021 I'll never understand why NBA players can't fix a broken shot. I"m not expecting that they can become a great shooter but at least try to change your form. the form you're using ain't working.

If you can't shoot , you can't shoot. 2

I feel secure in that he is going to make the right decision more often than not and go 110% at it when he does effort wise. Miss this cat, hope we see him soon. I think only 3 guys make me feel warm but not necessarily our best players.. well 2/3 are.. Trae JC Okongwu Hunter and Huerter are tied for 4th, Huerter probably ahead of Dre in warm ness regards. Cam makes me feel nervous as a mug ️ 2

Well, I think you're partially right. Some people just have 'it'. But I do think people can improve. They won't ever go from Capela to Curry or anything, but incremental improvement can be made. I do think you can go from "not" being able to shoot, to being passable/good at shooting.
Popular Post Gray Mule
Spud: A gnat bite of mine: 100% is all of it. No one, not even Superman, can do more than the entire total amount, which is 100%. Yep. It bugs me. Someone says, "He gives 120% effort." Wrong. Whoever he is, he can't do more than all he can do. Sorry for the rant. Now, back to our regular scheduled program. 1

But the Shaqs, Capelas, Dwight Howard's, not really much hope. Those guys are better off just practicing their 3 foot jump hook.

Premium Member Atlantaholic Posted November 24, 2021 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 24, 2021 If Onyeka can make a nice sophomore leap that would be huge. Cap is balling right now, but his achilles is an issue... the most rest we can get him to get him as freash as possible for the playoffs the better.
Premium Member Sothron Posted November 24, 2021 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 24, 2021 If we see him develop like we think he can OO is going to be huge coming off the bench.
Final_quest
So easy to be a fan of Okongwu. Last year it felt like he showed so much, but was hampered by this weird NBA officiating where rookies get called for fouls in the post when they breath on somebody.
ATLHawks3
I love that he's been adding to his game. But I wouldn't put to much pressure on him coming back from injury. Give him a few games to adjust to NBA ball, and we'll go from there.
