No one set up Bogi for open shots.  Huerter is a much better off the dribble scorer than Bogi, because Huerter knows where his spots are on the court.  Bogi gets the ball, and feels that he MUST shoot it, no matter how many people are on him, like he's Bradley Beal or somebody.

Bogi needs Trae's ability to draw people to him, so that Bogi can be completely free for open jumpers.

Probably right.  He feels pressure to make stuff happen, but really needs a guy to set him up.

The Hawks have no high energy players. Nor do they have any physical players. They should have stayed home and mailed  in this game. They  just cruise around like all they have to do is show up.  Cam will be a good consistent ball player if and when he learns better shot selection. He should stick to mid range and shots at the rim with the occasional three pointer. He is not a high volume three point shooter. As for the Hawks they better get some sense of urgency  or this will be a long season.

Lance is on the squad. He has high energy. JC always has high energy. I do agree otherwise. The issue is, we play poorly against physical teams especially in the regular season when we can't adjust. It's the case with or without Trae. We haven't won a RS game against the Knicks since Fizdale was their coach.

Not gonna waste a second thought on this game.

Hope they get more guys back for the Bulls.

My wife was like, you didn't get mad not once this game. I was like, do you see who's available. I'll be mad when we got everyone back and still play like ish. I actually felt the defense was sound outside of breakdowns.

Can't be mad at the team tonight.  They played hard on the defensive end...New York was just hitting 3's today.  Maybe just a little mad at Capela's useless azz on offense

Offensively we struggled mightly with just dumb basketball.  Our players need to recognize their strengths and weaknesses.

In their defense, the Knicks are a tough defensive minded team

The Knicks are ranked 23rd in defense this season.  That's why they're behind us in the standings.

It's OK P.  It's OK to admit that this team desperately needs Trae Young to play Trae basketball.  Because if he doesn't they don't have the offensive talent to consistently score the basketball.  Trae is the table setter for everyone, as well as the one who eats the most from a shots standpoint.

It's who we are.

Trae isn't the only person missing...don't we have like 8 guys out? But if you want to make every loss about Trae...have fun.

When the team can't even crack 100 points, yeah, it's definitely about Trae's absence.

When the backup center leads us in assists, and we can't even score 40 points in a half . . . yeah, it's about the missing superstar.
