My only complaint post-1st quarter ... I wish Nate pulled DJ + JC with 4 to go. Especially with an equally important back-to-back coming up tomorrow.

Team has turned a serious corner and its not just because we are healthy.  Sure thats a part but its clear this team is starting to gel, root for each other, have fun, play with confidence.  Its night and day.  
 

It seems the morale changed after the Heat win.  Like we lifted last years proverbial monkey off our back.

Bogi missed our first 22 games (we went 12-10). He was a major part of our “spacing” issues that we had. It took Nate a minute to warm to AJ as well. But to your point, we were a few games over .500 for most of the early part of the season despite the fit issues. It wasn’t until we lost multiple starters that we really strung together losses. We have played several games with at least 3 of JC, Clint, Dre and Murray out of the lineup. 

Tonight was only the 4th game we have played with the top 7 available to play. 4-0 in those games.

Whether we blame health, chemistry, or both, we have simply not had our key guys together much this season

Man it feels so good beating the Knicks when 1/3 of the arena is orange.  I swear there are 100,000 NY transplants down here.

Worked a 13 hour day! Just finished the game. I said 5 in a row I'd be all the way back in and I am.

There I say the offense is elite again?  The ball movement has been great.  I don't know what Nate or the players did, but it is coming together nicely. 

If the offense continues to click, this team knows they can play solid defense too.  That's much more than last year's team.

I was called a homer when I referenced Boston's turnaround.  They were 22-22 and went on a run.   So far the Hawks were 17-22 and are starting their run. 

As long as they play this brand of basketball, win or lose, I'll stay rooting for this team. 

They are fun to watch again!

I was concerned with the defense early.  I don't think it was the defense... aside from the Knicks just couldn't miss.  However, we didn't miss many either. 

Our offense is perking on along... our defense was good in the 2nd half.   The closeouts were great and we didn't foul too much.

So this sorta has me intrigued wasn't Korver hired as a guy who works with the guys on their shooting and offensive plans/programs.   Im wondering if that wasn't going so well and it was causing everyone to shoot worse with him messing with peoples shots some.   I have seen this happen before when a elite shooter and form guy try to push his ways of doing things on people to improve them and it backfire.   Could just be 100% coincidence as well and he did nothing to mess with anyones shots or forms the whole time lol.   But it is funny that since he went to GM and isn't messing with peoples stuff anymore we turned into a red hot shooting team XD

Actually, last game it was revealed that Trae went back to his shooting coach from the summer to work out and his shot got better???

I didn't know about Trae going back to his shooting coach like you said either.  That just adds to it a little more and is something to keep an eye on going forward for sure.

It wouldn't be the first time that somebody was good at something but couldn't teach it.   Look at Magic trying to coach.
