Premium Member Diesel Posted June 28, 2021 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 28, 2021 I'm glad to hear that it's just a bruise. As my old coach used to say... Put some ice on it and I'll see you tomorrow. (he told me that when I dislocated my patella and when I got a bruised bulging disc in my back. ) BTW... Was there any news on Nathan Knight? That was a terrible fall he took the other night.

I don't know what the recovery time or what with bone bruises.

That ref must have feet of Stone.
Premium Member Popular Post Jody23 Posted June 28, 2021 Premium Member Popular Post Report Share Posted June 28, 2021 I'm sure Trae will play if he has his way, but they gotta be careful here. Win or lose, the start of next season is literally right around the corner. You don't want to jeopardize that by forcing things and making an injury worse.

Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted June 28, 2021 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 28, 2021 This will be the issue for Trae: Trae Young said he could tell his blow-by speed was impacted after spraining his ankle. What makes Young so great is that speed to get to his spots. Now he has to play through a bone bruise, which are extremely challenging to deal with.

I hope he is as good as y'all say he is.
Premium Member Popular Post JeffS17 Posted June 28, 2021 Premium Member Popular Post Report Share Posted June 28, 2021 Such a bummer, I struggle with these types of injuries because you don't want to throw in the towel after this nice run but you really don't want to come back and play hard and cause a longer lasting more nagging injury either. We've seen it plenty this year and in the past where dudes come back and overcompensate on the other leg or different muscle groups and have a worse injury. With that said, because it was a contact injury and there's no soft tissue damage, wrap it up and get out there and put up 50!! 4

He must be okay, I noticed him playing around with John during shoot around before the game.

His whole family too. Warm, loving, immigrant family. He doesn't do the fake tough guy routine like a lot of American players.
