Our depth is better than it was when we went to the ECF. It's about our starters bringing it. Tonight, I felt Dre wasn't it. He gotta join the party against Boston. We will need him, BAD!

He was insane tonight. I honestly think he was our best player with OO. If I had any negatives for him. FTs, settling for 3s even when wide open and he would fall asleep on defense at times. Other than that. His possession by possession play was massively impactful. The hard stats don't do him justice. He was hell on Miami every single time he had the ball and defensively, he was all over the floor. 

Just a friendly reminder: Nate's refusal to play JJ led to a near mutiny from the team and the coaching staff. It is one of the main reasons he was fired. 

I love that this will NOT be talked about by the national media. They blasted the Hawks for firing Nate and yet when a player Nate buried consistently played great under a new coach they say NOTHING.

Huge win tonight obviously. I am so glad that we shut Jimmy Butler's clown mouth up. He guaranteed they were going to beat us. He literally did. So glad we stuffed his fat face with crow.

I would like to see JJ get more confident in the  low post and paint shot. He needs to look for his shot there first then pass if he's defended. This will take him to a 15/18 pt a game player. Love the improvement since Q has taken over.  He wants JC's spot. Now can Q get more out of JC? That is probably a bigger task.

1st quarter.  Herro was trying to set one of the Heat's patented "smush their full body into your side and push" screens on JC to force a Trae switch on Butler.  JC was stabbing his arm out pushing Herro and keeping him at arm's length and the pick play died.  That's when I knew the team came to play, when RagDoll is muscling guys.

Give Quin a chance to work with him in the offseason. He was underdeveloped by Nate.

Bench played great, Hawks pushed the pace, played physical, grabbed rebounds, and didn't wither when Lowry and Herro hit shots.

Proud of these Hawks for showing heart for once...
