Mobley’s on the shelf for a minute after knee surgery, Garland out too.  
 

After a relatively tough schedule so far (ranked 7th before last night’s game) the Hawks are hitting a soft spot upcoming, gotta close these last 8 games out to finish December strong.  Only a .391 winning percentage combined for opponents in that stretch.  Going 6-2 or better would be a landmark, possibly season-saving stretch.

That was great to watch.  I feel like we've been in all of these games.  I think Quin finally found something playing the bigger lineup. 

 Let's start winning now that we have a formula.

While we all applaud the Big Lineup.

He also played the mighty mouse lineup too.

 

 

To me, this lineup was successful too.  They all had active hands and they all were shooting threats. I wouldn't have thought it would work until I seen them out there boxing out and getting to spots on defense.  Bogi is not a good defender, but the effort is there.   I don't know what to say about Trent... he is solid and Mathews knows how to get position, even when he is giving up 40 lbs.

I waited until the morning to see this one.

Other than his 8 turnovers, Trae had a pristine line, and his effort in D was really showing. I liked a lot what I saw from him this game, he was phenomenal. Of course he wasn't alone, the big lineup worked very well and the OOCC tandem looked great.

 Announcer said last night that Mathews had only attempted three-point shots this season.  To prove this, he only took two shots, making them both, and they were threes! 

After last night's victory Hawks may not wish to trade,  Hunter still out and Siakam didn't look great last night, did he.

He was able to bully the smaller Wes in the first game, he could not against OO. Size does matter.
