Why would the Hawks want Wiggins?  He’s a negative player who will not help this team win in any way.  Bad shooter, poor defender....etc.

In order to complete the deal for D'lo, GS/MIN needs a 3rd team that can eat the bulk of the salary and save them money.

That is a strong move for us, still leaves room to get Adams too. Who would start in that scenario? JC or Love or Adams to come off the bench?

Love would come off the bench. Since he can play the 4 and 5. He fits perfectly in our rotation.

Would Love accept coming off the bench?

Yeah.....one post @NBASupes say Hawks steal Wiggins, then in another he shows Trade Machine with Wiggins to Cavs and Love to Atl. Don't make no sense.

In order for GS to meet their LT goals (right now their 4LX is 75 million), MIN to get D'Lo salary wise, MIN has to trade Wiggins. Nothing less will do and GS has to take him. But obvious GS doesn't want Wiggins contract, AT ALL. So this deal can't get done unless someone wants to take Wiggins. There are some teams who will take Wiggins but can they give GS the cap savings to do the deal and do they want Wiggins contract. Cleveland can do it as well but the issue is, they would have to give up Thompson/Windler and Zizic. That's an easy no from Cleveland plus Wiggins and Love making a combined 58 million would be a killer.

Atlanta can do the deal, give up fillers and take on Wiggins with ease. Now the question is, does Atlanta want Wiggins. Likely not but Cleveland does so it would work out.

Atlanta deal saves them 10 million and gives them a chance to get in the Aaron Gordon market in June. Any deal for D'lo is depending on their trade of Covington

What's our incentive to take on Wiggins from Minny or GSW, (not that I want Wiggins).

Even if we are sending him to the Cavs for Love - which I'm not a fan of.

Neither one of those draft picks will help this team win next season.  You are wanting a top 3 pick in a draft that doesn’t have a legitimate top 3 pick in it.

You don't get it; for one you have no clue who could be great out of this draft; and in the second place the third pick has triple the trade value of the 10th pick.  So if you want to trade for someone to make us good next year, add assets, add assets, add assets.

Cap reasons. We can take on Wiggins and give up to 6 million in savings for GS. That has massive value.

This works then just add in Houston pick and either Nets pick or a protected 1st from us.

Hawks send Parker to Minnesota and a pick

Hawks send Len to Houston

Hawks get Capella.

===========

Houston sends a pick to Minnesota

Houston sends Capella to us

Houston gets Covington and Len

===========

Minnesota sends Covington to Houston

Minnesota gets Parker, some cap relief even if Parker opts in, and two 1st.

I understand the cap saving for GSW...why would the Hawks, what's our incentive?

What are we getting to do that?  Love can't be the answer.
