Alot of people had that as a main concern and i never really understood it much as their games are quite a bit different.  Collins is a very athletic guy with a great shot and top tier range for a big.  So he can do alot of his damage from the outside and then come inside when need be.  Where as Capela is pretty much all inside work and hustle and board dominating.  Both can ofcourse do pnr to a elite level but outside of that their games are quite different to me and don't overlap much.   If anything it was a bonus that they both do the pnr so well that you can at times never not have a guy on the court that can do it if you stagger them some.

The Lakers run out AD as a PF next to actual 7 footers and nobody bats an eye.

We put out 2 smaller bigs together and all of a sudden we are trying to reinvent the wheel.

Randle had a poor shooting game also. We need Capela and Collins to off set Randle. Then solid games from our guards. For some reason, Thibs defense, our guards have a hard time with NY.

Snell has not played a game against the Knicks this season.

He was basically their Clint Capela on defense.  He'll be a huge difference maker for them when he comes back next season.

This was a trap game. I am very glad we won this game because this would be an easy one to overlook and blow it.

Just finished watching it. Lots of rebounding between Capela, who continues to double double and shine and Collins who is starting to get warmed up after the injury. Collins made a sweet look away at Bogi with 4:25 left in the 2ndQ to find Huerter for a 3, the basketball Gods rewarded him the rest of the game. Monster jam off the Lou feed and then another reverse jam inside later.

Huerter got us started nicely early on, he’s been aggressive and consistent lately. 
 

Trae had the nice goggles on looking kinda cool lol. Found some folks for some nice bucket and got his in the flow of the O.

Bogi is a surgeon. I’d rather Bogi cut me up than any doctor out there, he knows what to do and when to do it, nice timely treys.

Lou is just a pro scorer. Great addition for us. 

65-40 adv in boards, 34 from Cap n JC. Wow.  Nice win for us. 18-6 now under Nate the great.

In years past we dropped these type of games. Every win in the NBA is important no matter the opponent. Good for us and good for Nate for probably drilling this into the players heads.

Until we get more pieces back, Lou IS the 2nd unit offense.

He is missing Gallo big time right now as a 1-2 punch.

Eventually, 2 of Kev, Snell and Dre will be on the 2nd unit and really make them potent.

Until then, Lou has to carry the load off the bench, which he is quite familiar with doing.
