When we play the big lineup with Ca, Gallo and Collins, it frees uo Collins from battlung in the paint for rebounds where he isnt getting.boxed out.

HUGE WIN. The more games we play, the more Embiid's floppin' ass deteriorates. 

Two wishes for next game:

• Start Gallo over Heurter. Huerter has  fantastic, but don't know if they can figure out our "big" lineup.
• Never let Tony Snell touch the court again. Give all his minutes to either Okongwu or Nathan Knight.

Trae only player in Hawks history (assuming Atlanta and not St. Louis?) with 20 points and 15 assists in a playoff game.

Why did I think Mookie did it in 94.  hmm. Now I gotta check. Lol.

Mookie got 13/18/8/4steals in game 5 of the 94 1st round series vs the Heat.

So he didn’t get the 20 points.

Is the 18 assists a Hawks playoff high tie with Mookie? Or did Doc get it in the mid 80’s?

1. Doc in 88 vs Celts game 4 22 dimes

2. Spud in 86 vs Pistons game 2 18 dimes

2.Doc in 88 vs Celts game 7 18 dimes

2. Mookie in 94 vs Heat game 5 18 dimes 

2. Trae in 2021 vs Sixers game 4 18 dimes

 

Spud and Mookie were round 1 matchups, while Doc and Trae were round 2.

Some of the defensive keys to the game. 

1.   We held Ben Simmons to 1 shot in the 2nd half.   Moreover, that was an alley opp attempt.   He didn't even initiate it. 

I don't care if Embiid is hurt or not.  I don't believe.   However, I think that if we can lock down Ben and Tobias and keep them out of the lane (Big lineup) then we can win games. 

Film study is going to be rushed because we play Wednesday.   I hope Nate let these guys rest, recoup and we come out scrapping.   IF we get this game. ...  I think Philly may quit.

Schlenk said on radio a few minutes ago he didn't know about it before the game either.  Said that 20 minutes before the game, Trae went to trainers and told them it felt a little sore, so they taped it up.  

Trae said he got hit on a screen in G3 so it felt sore.
