High usage, low efficiency players are the worst.

So your starting power forward missing 2 shot going 3-4 from 3 and your small forward shooting 3-6 from 3 and your center missing 2 shots with all of the starters in double figure scoring isn't enough around him?

Good season.  My goal for this team at the start of the playoffs (read:play-ins) was to make the playoffs and win a couple games.  We managed to do that and we didn't get blown out on our way to the offseason.  There's plenty of room for improvement for Quin to work through this offseason, and it bodes well for us he got to coach this team through a very tough series against the title favorites.

We had some small windows to pull out a lead or a win, but this Boston team is very good.  They punish every mistake, every missed shot, and every tiny defensive lapse.  They have 7 rotation guys you cannot leave open from three, 4-5 competent ball handlers, and multiple guys that can finish at a high level.  Our only shot this series was to out-score them.  The offense Nate left Quin with was far too simple to consistently generate open looks for guys like Bogi/Bey/Hunter, and our bigs cannot stretch the floor which leaves the paint clogged.  The result is Trae self-generating and putting up a ton of shots.  Boston is an elite defensive team that matches up perfectly against us -- it is what it is.  I'm happy we won two games.

Looking forward to the offseason to see what moves we make or don't make.  I still think we're just one big move or a few small moves away, given Quin can unlock some of the roster.  Can't wait to see JJ and AJ next season if they're still here.  Can't wait to see how he utilizes Murray and Trae together more than just staggering their minutes.  Looking forward to next season a lot more than I was looking forward to this season!

3-4 in post season against probably the two toughest matchups for our team is honestly better than I expexted..

Now the fun begins....

Lets see what we can do with a full off season of Quinn actually building a system that isnt "hey you guys just go iso all game while I stand with my arms folded".

Who has the most turnovers in the league since Trae entered?  Take a wild guess lol.

Granted, he also has the most assists in that span.  But the only leading total assist men to take home a ‘ship in the last 36 years have been LeBron (bubble year) and Magic.  Trae isn’t LeBron or Magic to put it mildly but good God I may have some posters coming to say he is let me be out lol.

He’s a below average shooter from the field and three for his career with horrible defensive metrics annually.  It just never made sense.

Here is the thing that pisses me off the most...They don't go "Iso" until Young decides to go Iso.  The ball was moving all game long until Young decided to go hero ball! Maybe he listens to some of fans who convince him to revert to the "shoot it Trae" offense.  You even had someone egging him on during the thread to just let it fly after he had already taken 25 shots.  Its not the rest of the team nor the coaching staff...It is one dude who constantly flips the script through 3 different coaching staffs.  It has to be obvious to everyone by now.  There should be no more debate about Hunter of Collins or whomever else you are trying blame the majority of the time.

On Trae...I thought he got better in this series.  Did he do EVERYTHING right?  No, but no one should have expected him to.  After those first two games, nobody expected that young man to respond the way he did.  But you can tell he listened to Quin, and he got better.  I think Quin has earned his respect and that should translate into him continuing to mature and get better as a player and a person.  People can feel how they want about him and that's fine, but they don't reach game 6 without him against a top three team in this league.  I applaud the way he fought.
