Official Game Thread: Hawks at Bulls

We need to trade Hunter and play JJ at the three and get a 4 that can rebound and be physical.

I don't think JJ rebounds well enough to stay at the 4 without a bigger presence at center,  but he is going to be better than Hunter overall.

I just finished watching the game. I accidentally saw the final score last night during dinner but watched it this morning anyway. 
 

Drummond thought it was 2014 wtf was that? 24 and 25!!!!! 
 

I dunno anymore. I mean I literally watched the whole game and I don’t have much to say. We don’t have size, and we don’t make key winning plays.

Caruso diving on the floor to ensure the win, we need some of those type plays for us from somebody.

Only really bright spot were Jalen and Bogi, outside of those two folks were going through the motions and looked holidayish.

Flush this one and we got K-Von and the Kangz up in our house on Friday. 

12-18 and 11th in the East now. 
 

We have to be active in the trade market. We have to take some risks this thing ain’t workin out and it’s getting later in the year now.

Bulls played only one guy that was over 6'7" last night.  

Size was not the issue.

Hawks lack effort on defense and on the boards.

Yes.  But that one guy was what killed the Hawks when he grabbed all those rebounds.

This roster does have way too many finesse players. Even Cap is not really a tough minded player.

Drummond has been a bench guy for a few seasons now for obvious reasons.  Hawks could pick up a facsimile of Drummond today if they wanted one.  

If the Hawks can't outwork a mid team missing three starters then they do not have much of a chance.

Trae's season defining streak is over and Capela missed a free throw.    Not sure what else could go wrong last night. Oh yea, we lost the game not that matters anymore.  This team is going to lose A LOT more games than it wins this year.

I remember when DeRozan was leaving the Raptors and I wanted him in Atlanta and this board went haywire talking about how the Hawks didn't need that type of player.  Dude is a beast.  One of the top get your own shot players in the NBA.

Hawks won’t trade Trae until he has enough and ask out

i wouldn’t trade Johnson.   
 

Everyone else I would be open to trading.   Murray will have value and so will Bogi.   
 

The Oneka extension just looks plain dumb now.

im tired of preaching how you have to have length around Trae or Trae/Dj backcourt.

its getting old but we get beat up by “bully ball” way too often.

Really wish we’d just get some extremely talented physical players in here while we have this short window before Traes next contract.

OR, get some bigger point guards with length.  6'6" point guards are a start...
