There was a deleted tweet where some dude asked Murray what he thought about what other nba players had to say about playing in pro am leagues. He said something to the affect of “I ain’t worried bout what they think. They need to get their scary a**es out here and play ball for the kids for free”. Lol. This dude is savage.

Murray is going to have a monster year for the Hawks. I can feel it. I don't give a f*** if he's teabagging scrub forklift drivers in the pro-am or "beefing" with rooks. This man is motivated. If you watched him play last year you'd see this guy was busting his ass every damn day he stepped on the court. Now he is in a situation for the first time where the team is thinking of playoffs and possibly the championship. He is going to come out like a demon who just snorted chilli powder. I have a good feeling about all of this despite the hate online about his "character".

For sho. It is the most underrated trait of an athlete.  Competitiveness, heart, hustle, channeled anger, and fearlessness. Every championship contender has at least one of those people.

I feel Trae at times has not had that chip on his shoulder that he carries when he's at his best. Guys like Murray that were passed up on the draft carry that chip everyday. I think it's going to be a tremendously good influence in the locker room.

Trae needs an attitude adjustment.  He played "lights out" in the playoffs but didn't think that the regular season was that important, or so we were told.

I honestly think he believed his own hype coming into the season.  Other Hawks were probably just as guilty. 

It hope we start out like this is a scorched earth revenge tour.  DM seems like he wants to destroy people already.

This team has always taken on Trae's identity for better or worse. That's why it's so important to add more elite level prouction and leadership into the team so it's not all on Trae.

I really think Murray is going to push Dre. Dre seems to be hell bent on proving he is not just a defender and he gets ambivalent sometimes when he is not in the offensive flow. Murray is a guy that will pick up on that quick AND say something to Dre THEN show him how it is done.  I believe once Dre sees you can give 100 percent on defense and hustle on offense to get yours, he will unlock his full potential.
