It's idiotic when you think about it. Him and Trae are the last players you should be trading unless you looking for a better fit but that fit needs to be the equalivent of Murray.

Exactly to me unless you are getting back or going after a healthy Brown, a KAT, a new contract Siakam, etc...  Then moving murray is just idiotic imo.  I could see doing it for those guys if it balances the tam better with equivalent star talent but at better positions of need. Even if you have to give a little more on top of Murray to upgrade some thats fine.   Other than that you are just being cheap and trying to run off our other talent by doing so when you piss them off.

Instead of being on the phone and negotiating deals for DJ… Landry needs to be telling Snyder that he needs to figure out how to make Trae / DJ / JJ work. Makes no sense to trade your two best players.

Put everyone else on the table until you can get a STAR. Otherwise, take DJ off the table.

OO has been underwhelming under Quin. It might be time to consider a trade for OO. He fits well with Nate. Clint just Clint. Good or bad, he's Clint.

I am proud of Murray. He's been a real one and he's been doing a carry job. Him and Trae been giving it their best.

I was thinking the same. Once upon a time OO was an untouchable. Not anymore.

Outside of Murray, JJ and perhaps Bogi, all I see is sheer incompetence. Mathews hits his shots, not his fault anyway.

Forrest is not NBA material. CC is washed up. OO can't stop fouling. Hawks are an utter mess.

JJ was bad..

OO is a bust as the #6 overall pick at this point..

Capela still starting over him tells it all...

I never expect much of anything from him..

He has some the most untimely stupid fouls Ive ever seen....

And yeah, Quin can go too. If the FO can ship Murray out in 1 1/2 years then they need to buyout Quin’s contract and burn it. Good grief....

The only way hes doing a good job, is if he's been told to tank the season..... smh

OO fouled out.   Most of those fouls were shooting fouls.   As I was watching, I was thinking, if OO didn't foul these dudes.. and if he didn't just escort Sabonis to the front of the rim and let him get what.. 22 rebounds... we may have made this game more competitive.   Every foul was a foul created because he gave up too much position.  Do they not teach boxing out anymore? Do they not teach fighting for position before the ball goes up.   When OO came into the game, Sabonis said in his heart... There goes my meal ticket.  OO's very first defensive exchange of the game was Sabonis calling for the ball on the right block and scoring over OO in the low post.  I see his play and I'm so ashamed.   I wanted this dude to be much better.  I thought that as he got better, he would replace CC and CC would come off the bench as a top reserve.   But right now, we can't run that plan.  CC still does a lot of things better.    Quin is showing loyalty by letting OO finish games.  But it's not moving the needle.  He still Jumps at head fakes.

I know he's a sacred cow around here... but he's either going to be a BU or a Center that gets taken advantage of.  Freaking JaVale McGee was doing rim pull ups on us.   IF OO can sweeten a trade package and get us a good player..  ship him out.

It's been some time since I last agreed with your takes, but I think in this one you hit the nail on the head.

I gotta cosign this, i keep giving him chances because he added a lot of value under Nate but under Quin who wants him to play a more modern style, he struggles.

He's still a tremendous man defender on some guys but struggles with others. It just seems like he's thinking too much still.

Referendum time?

Perhaps 😂. All that said, I think I’d still prefer him to start over Capela. I wouldn’t be shocked if his performance is reflective of a feeling he has of not starting. Has he given up on that prospect? Not saying it should be this way but how are players suppose to be motivated when bad play is constantly rewarded? That would be tough for anyone (again not making excuses)

Capela should be benched at this point - imo at least.

Bey should be benched. But Quinn says tells him to keep shooting 🙃

we haven’t seen AJ at all for whatever reason. Forrest is OK but Kobe is balling out in the g league but he’s no where to be found. If we really wanted to complete you’d think we’d be putting our best talent on the floor and coaching them up. Instead it’s just… predictable and rewarding the same minimal effort play and bad performance. Oh and to top it off, we’re trading DJ who has been our most consistent player. so how do we reward great play? We trade them for peanuts.

it’s insane. I think I need to take a break from watching the next couple of games. Each time I talk myself through what I see - it gets even more ridiculous.

Just finished watching.  My favorite western team beat my favorite eastern team.

When not facing the Hawks, I'm a Kings fan.  Atlanta had a cold shooting 1st half that they couldn't overcome.  Stayed hot enough in the 2nd half to keep the bench off the court.

No need to overthink what's going on with OO. Issue is simple, he's incredibly undersized.

Some of this is true.  Sabonis is listed as 6'10, 240.    OO is 6'8, 235.  To me, the difference in height doesn't make the most difference.   It's weight that plays a bigger role.   I don't get how OO can play strong against a guy like Giannis  6'11, 242... but he gets manhandled by Sabonis.

It's not all size.  I think it's simply style of play.   Sabonis came out last night and he was determined to be a Old School rough and tumble big man when he saw OO.   That's the style clash that OO loses.   Guys who can get rough with him.  I'm not calling him Sawft but the Old School guys push him around in the low post.   CC, not as much because CC came up on the tail end of some of those old school guys.  I think it is much less about size and more about adapting to a certain type of playing style.   Maybe OO needs to put on 20 lbs of Muscle and learn to Bang like Bam.  But right now, he is positionless.   He's not skilled enough to be a PF and he's too limited to be a C.  He need to get into the weight room and start training with some old school guys.

Do you really watch the games?

Capela played 22 minutes, gave us 11/12/1 with 0 personal fouls.  CC had 6 offensive rebounds.  That's 6 that Sabonis didn't get.

Sabonis had 21 rebounds.   2 of them were offensive.  That means that 19 times, he limited us to 1 shot. Maybe.

I don't think it's psychological.  I think OO just needs refining.   However, CC coming off the bench won't be so bad.   He'd get the chance to match up with the other teams reserves.

Our schedule the last 6 days was terrible.  So not too surprised we were flat but also not really a game to make the case that we have plenty of talent on this team.

We were missing two starters off a team that is already thin when anyone is out.  We don't have an overabundance of talent unfortunately.
