2020-2021 Season News and Notes

Looks like I’ve missed very little this year.

It seems Hunter has improved, but not so much for everyone else.

Bruh it’s like our defensive rating drops 1.5 spots every game without Dre.  We were Top 10 as he broke out, now we’re hovering around the low-mid 20s smh. The three point shooting frequency (17th) and efficiency (20th) doesn’t check out for a good team either.  
 

Bad signings and injuries piled up too high.  What can we get for cutting Rondo at this point?  His offensive rating is only worsted by Bruno (sorry @TheNorthCydeRises)

Too bad the Knicks, Hornets, Bulls, etc...are alot better this year too...The Heat and even The Wizards are playing better also..smh..Hawks cant afford too many 3-4 game losing streaks anymore...

My running total is sitting at 6 games:  @ BKN, Clev, NYK, Dal x 2, and either Nets at home or Pacers at home. 

There's others they could have won, but I felt like they should have won those 6.

We've been without 2 of dre/snell/bogi for almost every game of the year.    some may disagree but those are our 3 best all around wings.   You just aren't going to win a lot of games in this league if the 2 and 3 spots are both shaky on one or both ends of the floor.

Also, Gallo was playing well to start the season. That injury really seems to have set him back. He isn't the same player as the first 10 games.

Facts.

And Bogi wasn't necessarily consistent yet either. He was still finding his place with us.

Imagine a month from now, trying to work back in Bogi and Dre. While also trying to figure out what Dunn can give us.

This team is still very  far away from its peak. The question is will we find it this season before its too late

But Gallo only played 1 game and 3 minutes of the 2nd game before being injured.  He came back on minutes restrictions and played 'well' but haven't looked good in February with no minutes restrictions the last 8 games or so.

That looked a lot like an extension of what he has done the last few years.  Since he returned, he hasn't been the same player as he started the season or how he has played the last couple years.  Makes me feel pretty good about a rebound for him if he can get back to full health (or whatever state he was at last season given that full health is probably too much to hope for with him).

I was considering preseason as well.

Season over. We probably 0-8 out west on that trip. Hunter probably won't be back by then.

Hopefully Bogi will be back, Gallo finds his stroke, Cam has a 2nd half surge like last season, Mays becomes a staple, OO starts to give some positive contributions like he did against Denver, Snell continues his tear from 3, Solo, well...mmmmm...nevermind  - so a perfect storm.
