Wonder what happened to the concept of getting the ball to your hottest players and not the cold ones.  Also whatever happened to the concept of pulling the players that are screwing up out and replacing them with players who won't shoot themselves in the foot by forcing bad hero shots?

We aren't playing that great. Still early, but we look like your average NBA team hovering around .500.

Hawks will  be under .500 on Christmas day..

We have a problem getting back on defense.

This is why Nate really likes us playing the slow pace and it's his specialty.

What we have to do is execute in the half court. We can't play fast because we suck at it but we can't play puff puff pass if guys aren't getting open or taking late contested shots. What we needed to do v. Brooklyn was dribble drive and pop out. Hunter and Huerter didn't pop out much but they drove. Cam tried to drive but just ended up in traffic which says our spacing was shit. Cam not being able to advantage of Griffin us like Dre not being able to take advantage of Seth.

Cam and Dre really need to put in work on consistency. I understand you aren't always gonna have it shooting wise but you gotta take advantage of weaker mismatches. We depend on it.

I know its harsh but Cam lost us this game and Dre lost us the Philly game. They had the mismatches and neither could exploit it. Also, Nate deserves blame for both games as well.

I wanted to scream when BKLN trouted out Millsap, Aldridge, Mills and we didn't run the damn break.  That's 110 years of play in 3 players and we refused to run the damn break.  We were supposed to run those old men off the damn court with our speed and youth and we were walking the damn ball up.

Now that we've been to the big show, we can't fall back into playing like we did before we went there.

It's going to take Hustle and hard play and smart play.  Every possession.  Because honestly, we're not the most talented team on the floor most nights.

The only way you can beat talent is with hustle.

JC should really take it personally that teams feel like they can defend him with smaller players.  He should be punishing these guys but he can't establish low post position. This would really help our offense when our outside shots aren't falling. He should be offended that teams think so little of his post game that they put Curry and Joe Harris on him. Embarrassing!

Trae didn't give him the ball enough. A big issue is JC probably had his 2nd worst game of the season. Harris defended him well as did Durant

I agree, but Harris is no slouch though.

The facts are the facts. We know what we are but we have to play like it. We are an elite, heck generational half court offense but right now, its been below average. We can't win games if what we are best at, we are severely struggling. We just don't have the personnel due to Trae to be anything better than trash in the open court and transition on defense. We have to do what we do exceptionally well. It's that simple.

These are FACTS!!!

Like most fans, we overhype our players.   Cam, Hunter, KVon, Gallo, and Bogi can all be traded for the right guy.  DO I like them.. Yes.  Do I think they have talent.  Yes.   But honestly, none of them are a #1 or #2 guy.  The closest is Hunter.

This was one of these players.

You put a player like him beside Trae, and Trae almost has no choice but to scale back his game and make sure that the King of Compton gets the ball in the right spots.

I agree Trae doesn't look to get the ball in the post enough but JC can't establish and hold low post  position. He should punish guys that are 3,4,and 5 inches shorter and 15 to 30 lbs lighter than he is. No excuses.  Get it done.  Tired of watching him get rooted out of the post by smaller players.
