Man, you Trae apologist always think he's getting hated on and snubbed out of accolades and whatnot..

Is it possible, that maybe, he's not the player you build him up to be? Dudes incredibly inconsistent whose game is streaky. The reason this team continues to finish 41-41 is because for every night Trae plays good, he's good for one night that he'll be atrocious.

Since we're still in 2018...

The Avengers Infinity Wars will be coming out soon.  Spoiler...  There's an important "Snap" in the movie...

We are getting killed ball watching a post player, while letting 3 point shooters run wide open.

Quin has to put a stop to this.

This....ALL NIGHT.  digging too far in the paint and can't get back to 3pt shooters. Doing the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!! :blanky:

Trae is not shooting well from the field but he's playing well in every other aspect. He is getting to the line, he is getting assists, he is playing defense as best as we can expect him to play.

It is just his shooting that is simply cheeks right now.

Capela "Hands of Stone"  sure didn't help us tonight either.  The Knicks simply shot the ball well in the middle quarters and we didn't respond well enough. Those several trips late in the 4th when we could have tied or went ahead is what killed us.

Brunson dropped 31 and 5 with his B-game.  Such a unique talent he molded himself into once he realized his mastery of leverage and angles and his peers’ depressing lack thereof. He easily finished through #12 in the post, giving up 6” and 35 pounds, with his left hand no less.

Props to Hunter for playing inspired tonight.  The defensive scheme was wayyy worse than the actual defense.  Why in the world did they continue to help on Randle in the post and leave shooters wide open?  0-3 is incoming.

I screamed myself hoarse on this....EVERY SINGLE TIME DOWN THE FLOOR. :blanky:

STOP IT!

This is how I saw it too.   We had opportunities and we took bad shots in some of those possessions.   We will remember the two Capela misses but honestly the second one was either two high or he was pushed in the back or something.  The first one was Bizarre.  The ball was in...  Then it was out.  Still he shot 50% and grabbed about 13 rebounds. I don't think we can ignore the fact that Mitchell Robinson shut down the middle when he was in the game.   We are close... we will get it together.

I wouldn't call it all poor shot selection.   There were a few of those shots that was redirected by Mitchell.   Mitchell would show up out of nowhere like...
