I don't think he has a choice in this case. No other PGs on the roster.

Better to let one of our non-PGs play than risk injury to Trae in a meaningless game.  It is pointless and risky for  no good reason.

It's not Trae's fault that no one on the team can run your offense.

This also would be the perfect type of game to see what Cam could do as a primary ball handler.  Too bad he's hurt.
