I don't think the season is slipping away. We will be getting Philly with half their starters not playing. But after that, I see a three game losing streak coming up.

As far as your post goes, there is this coach named McMillan on the bench who would put Capella, Collins, OO, and Fernando to really good use. Post play is a foreign language for LP. But Nate knows how to use his bigs and wings as part of a 5 man unit.

So what?  His teams don't shoot poorly every game but the philosophy eventually catches up with them over the long haul

LP didn’t have the tools to win before.  He does now.  Sink or swim season and the last week has been sinking fast.

Just pointing out...Different personnel, same results.  His offensive philosophy is the problem not the personnel.

• Collins - pass out for a 3 to Hunter
• Collins - catch off the rim and slam of a Trae layup miss
• Capela - tap ball to rim after Trae's layup miss ( he did it twice, so he should've gotten credit for 2 rebounds instead of 1 )
• Young - scored the layup by grabbing Capela's 2nd missed tap on the same possession

 

• Capela - catch off the rim and slam off of a Bogi missed 3
• Capela - pass out to the 3 point line after Hill's missed 3
• Collins - tap to the rim after a missed layup by Trae ( Collins fouled on the play )
• Huerter - pass out to the 3 point line after grabbing his own miss ( could've shot it over the defender )
• Hunter - caught a missed 3 by Cam that kicked out damn near to half court

 

• Hunter - grabs a missed hook shot by Capela that is tapped out to the corner
• Capela - grabs a missed 3 by Hunter . . passes it out to Trae at the 3 point line
• Huerter - grabs a missed post up by Collins . . he goes straight up and SCORES!!!
• Young - grabs a missed corner 3 by Goodwin . . he passes it out to Solomon Hill for 3.
• Collins - grabs a missed 3 by Huerter . . tosses it out to Goodwin for a 3, that he misses

 

• Knight - grabs a missed 3 by Goodwin . . tosses it back to Goodwin for a corner 3.
• Collins - grabs an air ball corner 3 by Cam . . gets fouled by Melo and goes to the FT line

If he doesnt make the all star team they will..And fans wont vote him in much longer..Melo has even more young fans than Trae..Some Coaches dont love Trae's game(see All Star game)...

Id trade Melo for Trae in a heartbeat. Melo is a natural, he doesn't over dribble like Trae. And Melo has great size for a guard.

Trade John, Fire LP, let Trea be Trea and everyone else get healthy and buy into defense and maybe everything works out.

Hornets wouldnt do that. Only Schlenk would take the 6'0 guy over the 6'8 one......lol
