There are no shortage of lapses in judgement with today’s young, one-and-done players.  None bigger than total lack of awareness with the shot clock and how it can actually be your friend.  It’s mind boggling.  So many games lost because they apparently don’t understand that it’s possible to score with less than 14 seconds on.  
 

Right on cue, Derrick Rose everybody lol.

Trae is proving whose team this is.   All of this get everybody else involved is great.  But those guys aren't used to functioning as main scoring options.  That's why they have failed possessions when the rubber meets the road.

Play defense . . . and let's live and die with our star player making the decision to shoot or pass.

We have no other choice but to live with his good and bad plays.
